MD, MS, MHCDS

Shaun Garcia, MD, MS, MHCDS, is a healthcare executive with nearly two decades of experience across integrated health systems, accountable care organizations, community health centers, and population health strategy. His work has focused on advancing value-based care models and operational transformation.

His expertise includes systems thinking, adaptive leadership, and reducing unwarranted variation in care delivery through structured implementation strategies.

  • Public health graduate training at the University of Texas Health Science Center, specializing in community health - health policy and structural barriers to transformation.

  • Medical studies in two countries at Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara & New York Medical College.

With almost two decades of experience across integrated health systems, ACOs, venture-backed startups, community health centers, dental and behavioral health practices, and population health strategy, he has guided organizations through the shift from fee-for-service models to financially sustainable, patient-centered care.
